Winter Camp 2016

Winter Camp 2016

Come on an adventure with us while we explore all types of projects that fit your interests! Our camps feature a different media every day and we may even have a large project that weaves all of the medias into one beautiful work of art. So much to choose from in our studio, that a week won't feel like nearly enough time!

We will be running Spring Break and Summer Camps in our studio this year as well as Summer Camps through Ann Arbor Rec & Ed and Saline Rec & Ed. For the camps we are running in our studio, please click the big, blue Upcoming Camps button at the bottom of the page.

Child care is available each day at a weekly flat rate. From 8:00-9:00 am: $25/week and from 4:00-6:00 pm: $50/week

All campers must bring their own lunch, snacks, and drink each day. We do have a refrigerator and freezer if needed.

Campers who require medication during camp hours must have a completed Medication Authorization Form on file. The forms will be emailed to you 2 weeks prior to the start of camp.

Each week we will go on a field trip (weather permitting) that is within walking distance of the studio. Permission slips will be emailed 2 weeks prior to the start of camp.

We do walk over to the library each day as a group and we spend about 30 minutes there where they can stretch their legs and mind! If we don't have a crazy snow storm, we also like to paint rocks and take another walk during the day where we strategically place them outside to share with people to pick up and enjoy. We normally go out in the morning and in the afternoon. The hands on museum is right behind us and we also like to take them their at least once during the week - We have a special deal for our campers with them.

Note: We are currently working with area schools that are within walking distance to form a partnership to utilize their playground for our summer camps. More information will be posted here as this process goes forward.

All of us at Flipside want every camper to enjoy his/her experience at camp. If your child has any special considerations or accommodations please share this information by contacting Mary Kay Stevanus at or by calling Mary Kay at 734-997-5066
